Philippine curriculum

In the Philippines, the education curriculum is known as the "National Standard Curriculum" (NSC), which is the national framework for primary and secondary education. It teaches a wide range of courses, including English, math, science, the arts, and the Filipino language, and places a strong emphasis on religious instruction and national values. There is also the "Basic Education Curriculum" (K to 12 Curriculum), which adds two years to secondary education, bringing the total length of secondary education to 12 years. Academic, technical-vocational, artistic, and sports programs are all part of the system.

In the Philippines, there are numerous levels of education, including basic, secondary, higher, and non-formal education. The Philippine national education system currently follows the Philippine Qualifications Framework, which refers to multiple levels of education and study programs.

1. Basic Education:

- Kindergarten: Early education begins with kindergarten for children as young as five years old.

- Elementary School: Primary education lasts six years, from Grade 1 to Grade 6.

2. Secondary school:

- Junior High School: The first four years of secondary school, from Grade 7 to Grade 10, last four years.

- Senior High School: From Grade 11 to Grade 12, the second level of secondary school lasts two years. Students can select between academic, technical-vocational, and arts and sports pathways.

3. Curriculum: The Philippine national curriculum is based on national standards and includes courses like English, math, science, arts, and Filipino. Furthermore, religious education is an essential component of the curriculum, representing Filipino values and culture.

The following are some of the attractions in Guimaras, Philippines:

1. There are no tuition costs.

2. Complete amenities are provided by the student's parents.

So the amenities are not provided by the school, but by the kids' parents, for example, television to facilitate exhibiting presentations, then fans, and others.

Every day, lesson plans must be created in accordance with the meeting. Because English is a second language, it is very important to learn it, and teachers must arrange lessons for each week. Then, in math and science, utilize English as well.

Supang National High School (Teaching & Observation)

Supang National High School is the name of a school located in Guimaras, Philippines. I taught there only 2 days and 2 days of observation. so on Monday and Tuesday, I observed the class and studied the school lesson plan, and on Thursday and Friday, I taught. I taught 6 classes in one day, which I thought would be tiring teaching there, but in fact, it was very fun teaching there.       During my observation I studied the lesson plan of the Philippines, it turned out to be very easy and very simple. there are three important components in the objective lesson plan, namely first, knowledge (just simple recall, to identify, to draw, to describe), second, skills (learning objectives), third, affective (to relate, to one's life, to show appreciation).  During my observation I studied the lesson plan of the Philippines, it turned out to be very easy and very simple. there are three important components in the objective lesson plan, namely ...

Buenavista National High School (Observation & Teaching )

Buenavista National High School is at the high school level. Just like Supang there were two days of observation and two days of teaching, on Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Jum'at, and I taught 10th grade.      The teaching atmosphere at this school is a little different from before, in that the children are a little formal and mature if the friendly ones are many, it's just that the upbringing from a very formal school is very pronounced. However, I was comfortable in this class during observation and teaching. oh yes, the most striking thing in this school is that there are different levels of knowledge. For example, in the first class, the students are neutral, but in the second class, the teacher said that the second class of children is quite smart. in terms of intelligence here are students who actively ask and answer.  The mentor teacher from Buenavista High School is Sir. Roey. He is very kind and helpful. for example, when I was teach...
