A Short Story of Experience at Guimaras State University

Guimaras State University is a university located in the Philippines, Guimaras. GSU has a wide range of academic programs in various fields, including agricultural science, technology, education, and business. It provides character development, leadership, skills, and interpersonal skills through extracurricular activities and community service. GSU is also very supportive of all students who are talented in the arts of dance, music, poetry, etc. Therefore this University in my opinion is very interesting and very good for all students.

This is a picture of us with GSU president, Dr. Lilian Diana B. Dr. Parreno was very nice and friendly to welcome us that day, while touring the campus. at that time we talked warmly and introduced regional snacks from Guimaras, and what I liked the most was that the salad was very delicious.

The first week at GSU, we had a campus tour and participated in lecture activities that were in line with our majors. When we met the students, they turned out to be very friendly and respectful.

One of the most interesting things about this university that I have never encountered in any other university is that there are so many festivals, for example, every Wednesday. For example, every Wednesday we attend festivals, namely World Tourist Day and Teacher's Day. At our university, it is celebrated only by teachers or lecturers, and not all students, but at GSU it feels like a school, that is if there is a big activity attended by all students from different faculties and that is what I think is very interesting. GSU is also very supportive and appreciative of its students who have talents, in music, dancing, and others, very supportive of students, and every Monday always holds a flag ceremony, at our university, we never hold a flag ceremony, only schools hold it. and they, when after the flag ceremony always make announcements such as student victories in competitions or others, so it feels like when I was there I was in a school environment.

Oh yeah, and also the three of us always performed our talents, like dancing and singing.  To be honest, for me, this kind of thing is very difficult, because I am a quiet and introverted child, and socializing is quite difficult. but because I was forced and had a positive goal, I was finally able to show many people the many talents that I had been suppressing could be shown to everyone, therefore, I became brave and confident in doing something.

I made a video about the experience there, I once performed an activity there, and I want to upload it here so that it will be remembered.

I would like to thank Ma'am Dr. Lilian Diana B. Parreno who welcomed us and was very friendly and the facilities were very good. To our father, namely Sir, Dr. Joel V. Japitana who is like our real father there. To our mother, namely, Ma'am Dr. Jasmin T Gadian, Ma'am Instr. Adora B. Gabayoyo, Ma'am Dr. Kryl S. Palma, Ma'am Mylen Famillaran Namuag who have guided us and helped us like their children, as well as our friends Miss Axyl Rose T Gadian and Miss July Anne A. Gadian who have been like our sisters, and all the GSU staff I say very much -Very grateful, sorry if we made a mistake.

You all taught us the true meaning of family and taught me the meaning of being confident and being myself.

Thank you, warm greetings and love from me.💖

Supang National High School (Teaching & Observation)

Supang National High School is the name of a school located in Guimaras, Philippines. I taught there only 2 days and 2 days of observation. so on Monday and Tuesday, I observed the class and studied the school lesson plan, and on Thursday and Friday, I taught. I taught 6 classes in one day, which I thought would be tiring teaching there, but in fact, it was very fun teaching there.       During my observation I studied the lesson plan of the Philippines, it turned out to be very easy and very simple. there are three important components in the objective lesson plan, namely first, knowledge (just simple recall, to identify, to draw, to describe), second, skills (learning objectives), third, affective (to relate, to one's life, to show appreciation).  During my observation I studied the lesson plan of the Philippines, it turned out to be very easy and very simple. there are three important components in the objective lesson plan, namely ...
